*Rawr.* Apparently I'm a knitting animal; I was told so at knitting group... I don't know if she was being sarcastic or not... but I made the first animal noise that came to mind. *Rawr!* At least I didn't *Chirp* *Chirp* like I did when I got the mail Tuesday (What? I saw a bird!) and had a neighbor look at me like I was crazy.
We met at the Seal Beach Tennis Club. One fella saw us all bunched together and thought we were playing bingo; I said (to the other ladies) we had high-stakes knitting to do... they all thought it was funny. I'm either absurdly funny or asurdly stupid. I like the SBTC b/c they have decent food, and booze, and they brought us water and peanuts to snack on, and booze, and they have tastey food, and have I mentioned the booze? At the coffee shop is wonderful, but... it's just... well... coffee and scones. And at the Sew Vac, forget it!
I still need to knit my brother something. I don't want to knit him *another bloody* scarf. I want it to be something special. ... Maybe I can knit him a laptop cozy! That'd be nice, wouldn't it? I'm going to go see a movie with him tonight. *Hooray!*
Karen's *secret* scarf for her birth-y-day is *almost* fin. Monique said it looked like cotton candy... it's pink and it was wrapped around the needles... I'll post photos... you'll see...
