BIG NEWS!!!

I finished *knitting* my second *big* project in my knitting career: THE skirt. You know... the one I've been working on since August. Oh, there are so many feelings to feel. Relief. Regret. Excitement. Sadness. Everything. Nothing. I don't know how normal that is. I'll let you know in a few years after I've completed a few BIG projects. I don't know what to do next. Well, besides *properly* finish the thing. I don't think I'm going to jump right into anything big right now (like a sweater for one of my guys), maybe just a nice scarf to go with my skirt. Then maybe a couple other small things. Like an amigurumi... knit anyway. :)

That's it for now. Hey, at least I'm getting back into the swing of blogging! Sort of...

Ravelry

I've been looking at doggie sweaters on Ravelry. (I was invited Tuesday!) I found one with a Christmas tree pattern. A-dorable. I was reminded of the time Micah & I got our friend, Tadd's, dog - Puckers - jammies for Hannukah. She's really old and arthritic. (Imagine a thirteen year old pug and you've got her.) She just kept looking at us, thinking: "I hate you all." We were laughing so hard because she looked so darn cute!

That's it.

You got some free hockey coming up...

Over-time. Awesome.

Well, here I am for my monthly post. (It's just too busy. You know... life.) "So, what's happened in the life of Alie since December 14th?" you ask? Tons... too much to post here. But I'll try.

Christmas was wonderful. Spent it relaxing, driving. Got tons of cool schtuff. Pepper grinder (from Micah's awesome Aunt), yarn bag (from Heather's mom-in-law... Heather got one, too!), red jacket (from myself), a Minimalist chess set (from zee brother), a Hello Kitty water cooler (from Heather and Karl), and an iced tea maker (also from Heather and Karl... something like that), Dance Dance (from Micah, but you knew that!), two (yes, 2) Hello Kitty watches (also from Micah), and on and on. I got Stevie a really nice wool coat because he liked Micah's so much, and all he could do was keep talking about my jacket! I'm like, "Didn't I get you a nice coat, Brother?" Oh, well... it keeps him warm and that's what matters.

New Year's was fun. Went to the same place we went to on Thanksgiving. Mostly different people, but the same crazy Pugs that we wanted to steal. The hostess with the mostest (sorry, couldn't help myself with the rhyming) tried to convince me to make a pug blanket pattern she has, but - alas - I do not crochet.

Saw Juno. Super-cute. Go see it if you have the chance. It's good fun for the whole fam-i-lee. Nuff said. Hooray for Mythbusters and Project Runway. They're back.

3/4's of the way done with my skirt. *THE* skirt. 'Bout darn time.

I'll wrap this up as Micah's getting lonely. Sick and missed a few days of work. Still love my car. Got to hang with some of Micah's friend's. School starts (again) tomorrow. There's no time for anything, is there?

Fin.
